About Us

Janis Rattet
Janis Rattet has over 25 years of experience producing outstanding graphic results for a variety of clients, including those in publishing, education, advertising, retail, religion, politics, and entertainment.

Janis has a background in business, social service, and music. After college, she began her graphics career as an office assistant at a high-end, fast-paced typesetting company. She worked her way up through proofing and paste-up to managing the office, production, and traffic.

Since then, her projects have included everything from flyers and brochures for small businesses to work for national design firms on behalf of companies like American Express, Rolls Royce, and Disney.

Janis has extensive project and people management experience. She holds a BA in Psychology from Boston University, and MBA and MSW degrees from Boston College. Click here for her resume.

Steve Straight
Steve Straight has been providing technical documentation solutions for over 25 years. He is an accomplished writer, editor, and team leader who knows how to create clear, concise documentation that helps users and companies succeed.

In addition to writing new content, Steve is an expert at minimalization principles that maximize the impact and value of your existing content. Minimalization reduces word count and allows you to create reusable modules that reduce errors and drastically shorten the document development cycle.

Steve has managed several large teams and projects, including the rewrite and conversion of large documentation sets into DITA XML. He holds a BS in Communications from Fitchburg State University and a Master of Technical and Professional Writing degree from Northeastern University.
